SUMARY A group is said to be locally finite if every finite subset of G generates a fi-nite subgroup. The class of locally finite groups is placednear the cross-roads of finite group theory and the general theory of infinite groups. Many theorems about finite groups can be phrased in such a way that their statements still make sense for locally finite groups. However, in general, Sylows Theorems do not hold in the class of locally finite groups and there are a number of generic examples which show that locally finite groups can be very varied and complex. If we restrict our attention to locally finite-soluble groups with min-p for all primes p then the Sylow ¼-subgroups are very well behaved if ¼ or its complementary in the set of all primes is finite. The conjugacy of Sylow p-subgroups in these groups is a very strong condition which have guaranteed the successful development of formation theory and interesting results on Fitting classes in the universe c¯L of all radical locally finite groups with min-p for all primes p. Moreover, using an extension of the Frattini subgroup introduced by Tomkinson, it has been proved a Gasch¨utz-Lubeseder type theorem characterizing saturated formations in this universe. It is therefore appropriate to study the class c¯L of all radical locally finite groups with min-p for all primes p in more detail. In this thesis we have obtained results which help to understand better the groups in this class. Consequently, the unspoken rule is that all groups considered in the three chapters of this thesis belong to the class c¯L. The work is organized as follows. In Chapter 1, we explore the class B of generalized nilpotent groups in the universe c¯L. We obtain that this class behaves in the universe c¯L as the nilpotent groups in the finite universe and we determine the structure of B- groups explicitly. Moreover, we show that the largest normal B-subgroup of a c¯L-group is the Fitting subgroup. This fact allows us to prove some results 1 concerning the Fitting subgroup of a c¯L-group which are extensions of the finite ones. The aim of the last section is to study the injectors associated to the class B. In fact, we obtain a description of the B-injectors similar to the characterization of nilpotent injectors of a finite soluble group. Chapter 2 is devoted to study the local version of the class B. This is a natural generalization of the class of finite p-nilpotent groups. We extend some results of finite groups to the above universe using a local version of a Frattini-like subgroup. In particular, some properties appear relating the Frattini and Fitting subgroups. The injectors associated to this class of generalized p-nilpotent groups are also characterized. Finally, Chapter 3 is concerned with the structure of a radical locally finite group with min-p for all p, G = AB, factorized by two subgroups A and B in the class B. We extend the well-known results of finite products of nilpotent groups to the above universe. We have introduced a Chapter 0 establishing the notation and terminology. It also presents many of the well-known results that will be used throughout this thesis

New results on the aggregation of norms

[EN] It is a natural question if a Cartesian product of objects produces an object of the same type. For example, it is well known that a countable Cartesian product of metrizable topological spaces is metrizable. Related to this question, Borsik and Dobos characterized those functions that allow obtaining a metric in the Cartesian product of metric spaces by means of the aggregation of the metrics of each factor space. This question was also studied for norms by Herburt and Moszynska. This aggregation procedure can be modified in order to construct a metric or a norm on a certain set by means of a family of metrics or norms, respectively. In this paper, we characterize the functions that allow merging an arbitrary collection of (asymmetric) norms defined over a vector space into a single norm (aggregation on sets). We see that these functions are different from those that allow the construction of a norm in a Cartesian product (aggregation on products). Moreover, we study a related topological problem that was considered in the context of metric spaces by Borsik and Dobos. Concretely, we analyze under which conditions the aggregated norm is compatible with the product topology or the supremum topology in each case.J. Hyperspace of a fuzzy quasi-uniform space

[EN] The aim of this paper is to present a fuzzy counterpart method of constructing the Hausdorff quasi-uniformity of a crisp quasi-uniformity. This process, based on previous works due to Morsi [25] and Georgescu [9], allows to extend probabilistic and Hutton [0, 1]-quasi-uniformities on a set X to its power set. In this way, we obtain an endofunctor for each one of the categories of those objects. We will demonstrate the commutativity of these endofunctors with Lowen and Katsaras' functors. Aggregation of L-probabilistic quasi-uniformities

[EN] The problem of aggregating fuzzy structures, mainly fuzzy binary relations, has deserved a lot of attention in the last years due to its application in several fields. Here, we face the problem of studying which properties must satisfy a function in order to merge an arbitrary family of (bases of) L-probabilistic quasi-uniformities into a single one. These fuzzy structures are special filters of fuzzy binary relations. Hence we first make a complete study of functions between partially-ordered sets that preserve some special sets, such as filters. Afterwards, a complete characterization of those functions aggregating bases of L-probabilistic quasi-uniformities is obtained. In particular, attention is paid to the case L={0,1}, which allows one to obtain results for functions which aggregate crisp quasi-uniformities. Moreover, we provide some examples of our results including one showing that Lowen's functor iota which transforms a probabilistic quasi-uniformity into a crisp quasi-uniformity can be constructed using this aggregation procedure.J. Aggregation of Weak Fuzzy Norms

[EN] Aggregation is a mathematical process consisting in the fusion of a set of values into a unique one and representing them in some sense. Aggregation functions have demonstrated to be very important in many problems related to the fusion of information. This has resulted in the extended use of these functions not only to combine a family of numbers but also a family of certain mathematical structures such as metrics or norms, in the classical context, or indistinguishability operators or fuzzy metrics in the fuzzy context. In this paper, we study and characterize the functions through which we can obtain a single weak fuzzy (quasi-)norm from an arbitrary family of weak fuzzy (quasi-)norms in two different senses: when each weak fuzzy (quasi-)norm is defined on a possibly different vector space or when all of them are defined on the same vector space. Convergence of fuzzy sets with respect to the supremum metric

We characterize the convergence of fuzzy sets in the supremum metric given by the supremum of the Hausdorff distances of the alpha-cuts of the fuzzy sets. We do it by dividing this metric into its lower and upper quasi-pseudometric parts. This characterization is given in the more general context with no assumption on the fuzzy sets. Furthermore, motivated from the theory of Convex Analysis, we also provide some results about the behavior of the convergence in the supremum metric with respect to maximizers. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. Aggregation of fuzzy quasi-metrics

[EN] In the last years fuzzy (quasi-)metrics and indistinguishability operators have been used as a mathematical tool in order to develop appropriate models useful in applied sciences as, for instance, image processing, clustering analysis and multi-criteria decision making. The both aforesaid similarities allow us to fuzzify the crisp notion of equivalence relation when a certain degree of similarity can be only provided between the compared objects. However, the applicability of fuzzy (quasi-)metrics is reduced because the difficulty of generating examples. One technique to generate new fuzzy binary relations is based on merging a collection of them into a new one by means of the use of a function. Inspired, in part, by the preceding fact, this paper is devoted to study which functions allow us to merge a collection of fuzzy (quasi-) metrics into a single one. We present a characterization of such functions in terms of *-triangular triplets and also in terms of isotonicity and *-supmultiplicativity, where * is a t-norm. We also show that this characterization does not depend on the symmetry of the fuzzy quasi-metrics. The same problem for stationary fuzzy (quasi-) metrics is studied and, as a consequence, characterizations of those functions aggregating fuzzy preorders and indistinguishability operators are obtained.J. Groups whose primary subgroups are normal sensitive

In this paper we study locally finite groups whose -subgroups are normal sensitive. Los desafíos en las dinámicas económicas, sociales, políticas y psicológicas han puesto de relieve la importancia de involucrar en la enseñanza universitaria actividades que conecten a los estudiantes con las realidades del contexto en el que se desarrollan; simultáneamente, hoy más que nunca se hace evidente que la ciencia, la tecnología y la innovación (CTI) son cruciales para atender los retos sociales, ambientales y económicos de las sociedades actuales. En este contexto, la Jornada de Investigación de la Universidad Católica de Colombia es quizás uno de los espacios institucionales más emblemáticos en el que se visibilizan las actividades en CTI de estudiantes, jóvenes investigadores y profesores, que buscan contribuir a la solución de problemáticas relevantes del entorno. En esta oportunidad, aproximadamente 177 autores y más de 250 espectadores se dieron cita en un escenario virtual que permitió el intercambio de saberes y conocimientos en torno a muchos temas con un lenguaje común: el bienestar de la humanidad y la respuesta efectiva a los retos que tenemos como comunidad. Esta cuarta versión de las Memorias compila las ponencias presentadas en la XIII Jornada de Investigación de 2022, enmarcadas en los tres ejes temáticos de investigación que tiene la Universidad Católica de Colombia: i) Derecho, Cultura y Sociedad, ii) Desarrollo Humano y Sostenible, y iii) Gestión de la Tecnología al Servicio de la Sociedad. Desde la Dirección Central de Investigaciones nos encontramos profundamente agradecidos con todos y cada uno de los participantes, y nos sentimos aún más orgullosos por la calidad de los trabajos presentados.
